The tented villa of the resort brings to mind an anchored airship. An (air)ship is a space that travels from one place to the other and stations temporarily at one location. When it departs, it leaves no footprints. Similarly like the tents of Yala Wild Coast Lodge. At the same time an (air) ship alludes to travel and adventure, triggering the imagination. Air ships depicted in the steampunk genre and for example the books of Jules Verne reference a time in which there were still worlds left to be discovered.
